Humanoid robotics is moving from labs into real workplaces. In Saudi Arabia, a new partnership is now shaping what that can look like for industrial sites, including logistics and warehousing. Humanoid, a UK-based AI and robotics company, said it has partnered with QSS AI & Robotics to accelerate the development, manufacturing, and deployment of humanoid robots across Saudi Arabia.

One clear signal of scale is the timeline-based commitment both companies have described. Sources report a non-binding, pre-order framework for up to 10,000 humanoid units over the next five years. Another reported milestone is the expectation that the first prototype deployed as part of the QSS deal is expected in the third quarter of 2026. A separate engineering milestone described for Humanoid’s HMND 01 Alpha Wheeled is that it was built in seven months.
What the Partnership Changes Inside Saudi Operations
QSS will explore production and support for Humanoid at its Robotics Factory in Riyadh. Humanoid also said the humanoid robots deployed in Saudi Arabia will be locally manufactured, integrated, and supported through QSS’s robotics facilities in Riyadh and a factory in Sudair Industrial City. The companies describe this as more than importing machines. It includes local assembly lines, mechanical and electronic subsystem manufacturing, software integration, field deployment, and lifecycle support.
To help companies see the technology up close, a dedicated showroom has opened in Riyadh. Arab News reported that the showroom is open to the public at QSS’ Riyadh headquarters. Wamda described it as the Middle East’s first dedicated humanoid robotics showroom, called the Humanoid Lounge, with live demonstrations, educational workshops, and direct interaction features.
For warehouse and logistics leaders, the practical takeaway is access and readiness. The partnership is designed to accelerate humanoid deployment across key sectors. QSS will serve as Humanoid’s exclusive partner in Saudi Arabia and will oversee local assembly at the Riyadh Robotics Factory, supporting broad deployment across manufacturing, logistics, energy, retail, and public infrastructure.
